Poem I thought you might all enjoy written by my Mom, Dorothy Hawkins

Please Mister President
I have a plea
Yes, I know you are busy
But please listen to me.

I am an old lady
With many problems of being old,
Please don't disrupt my life style.
I'm frightened by what I'm told.

I've heard it said to save the trees
That toilet paper may take a hit,
Maybe it could be made thinner
By just a little bit.

Surely you wouldn't change things
The things upon which we depend,
Things such as toilet paper
Are so important in the end.

Yes I am an older lady
I hope I can count on you
To do that what is right
Please, see what you can do.

Dorothy Hawkins
